The look and feel of every room, suite and cottage is different with individual style, colour scheme and ambiance.  Enjoy all the pleasures of country life, turf fires, fresh flowers, the night sky heavy with stars and the sound of silence. Relax in total privacy with ‘home from home’ comforts whilst enjoying the benefits of ‘hotel style’ service. Over the winter months fires are set awaiting your arrival. A natural spring deep beneath the village is our water source and arrives in your room with the message “drink me”.

As we take the first steps to reopening, we are offering a minimum stay package of two nights in our beautiful individually appointed superior rooms.

Intimate and cosy with a choice of double or twin beds.  Rooms are within a variety of properties scattered throughout the village and tucked away discreetly.  The properties vary in size from charming cottages to larger village houses. Bedrooms are comfy and snug, individually styled and en-suite, some with baths. Each bedroom has a private entrance to ensure complete guest privacy but shares a front door and hallway with other guests. In your room you will find:  hairdryer, toiletries, shaving plug Tea/Coffee making facilities are shared within each property. Village Rooms are ideally suited for a group getaway or larger gatherings

Sleeps 2

Individual rooms tucked away in picturesque settings throughout the village. All rooms are individually styled with extra layers of loveliness and luxury comforts: soft throws, fresh garden flowers and calm ambiance. Some rooms have twin beds while most are king size, fully en-suite with spacious showers and enjoy picturesque locations with garden views or lake views. Each room has double doors opening onto a private terrace with table and chairs, the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or glass of wine. As part of the Coolbawn Experience is relaxation and escape, we do not provide TVs in the rooms. In your room you will find all the comforts for your stay: Roberts radio for easy listening and can be paired with your mobile devices; mood lighting; a comfy robe; hairdryer, toiletries, shaving plugs. a variety of teas/Coffee making facilities. As we are mindful of our environment we do not supply single use slippers and suggest you bring your own.

Sleeps 2

For discerning guests desiring that little extra space, stay in one of our beautiful suites tucked away within spacious properties scattered throughout the village and enjoying leafy village views. All suites have a spacious bedroom some with twin beds while most have a double bed, all are en-suite and most have baths. The suite includes a comfortable drawing room to relax in total privacy, some with a wood burning stove. Many of the suites share a front door and hallway with other guests. In your suite you will find a DVD player with a choice of films available from the Clubhouse, CD player (so bring your own sounds), hairdryer, toiletries, shavings plugs, tea/coffee making facilities, iron/ironing board.

Penthouse - laurel suite

Room with a View.....Idyllically located across the top floor of a waters’ edge property with the most amazing views overlooking the inner harbour and adjacent marina to the lake beyond. Accommodation spans the entire floor and consists of: entrance hall, separate comfy drawing room, beautiful bedroom with canopy king size bed and large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Layers of loveliness make this suite uniquely special. As part of the Coolbawn Experience is relaxation and escape, there is no TV in the suite. If requested, however, we can arrange delivery of one. In your suite you will find all the comforts for your stay: Roberts radio for easy listening and can be paired with your mobile devices; mood lighting; a comfy robe; hairdryer, toiletries, shaving plugs. a variety of teas/Coffee making facilities.
